Interior view.  The temporary support pole has been removed.  Next phase is plants, heat sinks and a rain barrel.  3/4 inch crushed stone used for the floor and exterior drip line.  Bottom center window opens.

Installation of Suntuf roof sheets.  These went up pretty quick.

Cross bracing for Suntuf roof preparation.  This is what Suntuf recommended for snow load.

Asphalt shingles and north side pine clapboards completed.  That is our old picture window.

North facing roof and west facing windows installed.  The north facing roof is a regular wood roof with asphalt shingles for strength, cost and to be able to access the roof by foot.  One of the west facing windows opens.

The door and picture window are in.  The door was a gift from a neighbor.  I also had to replace the wood supports on the north roof to 2x4s for added strength and make them longer to overhang.

Added more roof supports.   Due to the odd shape of the east facing side, I had to make custom triangular shaped windows out of plexiglass with wood frames to fit against the roof line.

Adding some of the recycled house windows for stability.  The challenge was to fit the specific size windows into the design.  I had to shave off a half inch or inch on some of the window frames to make them fit.

Foundation with raw frame up. I used pressure-treated 4x4s for the foundation.  2x4s and 2x3s were used for the frame.
